🅿️ Airport Parking

Compare airport parking
across every UK airport.

Park & Ride, Meet & Greet, on-airport — every option compared in one search. Find the best price, then book direct with the car park.

💰

Book early, pay less

Airport parking prices are dynamic — exactly like flights. The earlier you book, the cheaper it gets. The same space can cost three times more if you book on the day.

Save hours of research

We compare APH, Purple Parking, SkyParkSecure, Airparks, BCP and more in a single search. No opening eight tabs.

Every type covered

Park & Ride with a shuttle bus. Meet & Greet where someone takes your car. On-airport for convenience. Underground, covered, open-air. We show them all.

Types of airport parking explained

Not all airport parking is the same. Here's what each type means — and when each one makes sense.

🚌
Park & Ride
You drive to an off-airport car park, leave your car, and take a shuttle bus to the terminal. Usually the cheapest option. Buses typically run every 10–20 minutes around the clock. Best for: travellers on a budget or anyone staying a week or more.
🤝
Meet & Greet
You drive to the terminal, hand your keys to a driver, and they park your car for you. You collect it from the same point when you return. Most convenient option — no buses, no shuttle, no dragging bags. Best for: families with lots of luggage, early morning flights, or anyone who values their time over their money.
🏢
On-Airport Parking
Car parks operated by or directly adjacent to the airport itself — Multi-Storey, Short Stay, Long Stay. Walking distance or a very short internal transfer. Convenient but often the most expensive. Best for: short trips, business travellers, or when time is critical.
🔒
Secure/Approved Operators
Many off-airport car parks carry Park Mark or similar accreditations — meaning CCTV, security lighting, and regular patrols. Always look for this. Departo shows security ratings where available.
📦
Long Stay vs Short Stay
Short Stay is designed for drop-offs and pick-ups (minutes to a few hours). Long Stay is for trips of 3+ days. Never book Short Stay for a holiday — the daily rate is designed for brief visits.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Travelling with children?

Meet & Greet is almost always worth the extra cost with young children. No shuttle bus, no dragging buggies and bags through a car park, no timing the transfer with tired kids. You pull up at the terminal, unload, and someone else deals with the car. On the way back, your car is waiting — not a 20-minute shuttle ride away.

Airport parking tips

Things worth knowing before you book.

✓ Meet & Greet is worth it with young children
If you're travelling with babies, toddlers or young children, Meet & Greet parking removes the worst part — loading everyone and all the luggage onto a shuttle bus. You pull up, hand over the keys, and walk straight in. The price difference is usually worth it.
✓ Book as early as possible
Parking prices are dynamic. Booking 3–4 weeks out can cost 40–60% less than booking the week before travel. Set a reminder as soon as your flights are confirmed.
✓ Double-check your terminal
At multi-terminal airports like Heathrow and Gatwick, car parks are assigned by terminal. Booking the wrong one means an expensive or time-consuming transfer on the day.
✓ Check the shuttle frequency
Off-airport car parks should tell you how often their shuttle runs. 24/7 service matters if you have an early morning or late night flight.
✓ Read the small print on cancellation
Most reputable operators offer free cancellation if you need to change plans. Always check before you book — policies vary.
✓ Factor in transfer time
A car park 2 miles away with a 15-minute shuttle needs to be in your travel calculation. Add at least 30–45 minutes on top of your usual airport arrival time.
✓ Compare total cost, not just daily rate
A car park charging £6/day with a £10 booking fee may be more expensive than one charging £8/day with no fee. Always look at the total cost for your trip.
