Bristol Airport Parking

Compare Park & Ride, Meet & Greet and on-airport car parks side by side. One search — all the major providers. Find your price, then book direct with them.

💡 Parking tip: Bristol has several on-airport car parks at varying price points. The Silver Zone and economy options are good value for longer stays. Off-airport operators are available and can offer savings. Note that Bristol is more rural than most UK airports — road access is good but shuttle times can vary.

Bristol Airport Hotels

Stay the night before and wake up five minutes from the terminal. Compare hotels with parking, breakfast and shuttle options. Find the best deal, then book direct.

💡 Hotel tip: Hotel options directly at Bristol Airport are limited — the Ibis and Premier Inn are the closest. Bath and Bristol city centre are popular alternatives for a pre-travel hotel stay.

About Bristol Airport

Bristol Airport is the main airport serving the South West of England and South Wales, located 8 miles south-west of Bristol city centre. Terminals

Single terminal (all airlines)

⚠️ One compact terminal. Relatively straightforward to navigate — all check-in, security and departures in one building.

History

Bristol Airport has origins in the 1930s at Whitchurch but moved to its current site at Lulsgate Bottom in 1957. The airport was originally owned by Bristol City Council and South Gloucestershire but was sold to First Group in the 1990s and subsequently to Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan. Passenger numbers grew from under 1 million in 1990 to nearly 9 million pre-pandemic. Expansion plans have been repeatedly contested on environmental grounds.
